MotoRent at BMW Motorrad Days 2026: Peñíscola and the Next Ride

Three days by the Mediterranean to share our approach to motorcycle travel. A story from the MotoRent stand, bringing Mexico and Tuscany together.

MotoRent was in Peñíscola for BMW Motorrad Days 2026, held from 16 to 18 October. We brought our identity and our approach to motorcycle travel to a gathering beside the Mediterranean. The team’s photographs record the stand, the setting among the exhibition tents and the town after dark.

Being there matters to us because of what might follow: deciding to take the trip you have been imagining. A motorcycle, a road and a few days to spare are a beginning. Shaping that idea means choosing where to go, how you want to experience it and who you would like to share it with. That is the work behind MotoRent.

    A weekend centred on motorcycles

The official BMW Motorrad Days programme brings together exhibitions, model test rides and music. Our account starts with the team’s presence and the photographs we took during the visit.

A gathering like this brings different approaches to motorcycling into one place. For some riders, the next goal will be a short break; for others, a journey across regions and borders. We are interested in the moment when the desire to ride starts becoming a travel plan. Our presence in Peñíscola is part of that connection with people looking for new roads.

Mexico and Europe at the same stand

The opening photograph captures part of our story. MotoRent Europe appears on the shirt; behind it, a display presents motorcycle rental in Mexico. Travel material sits on the counter. These elements belong to the same journey: MotoRent began in Mexico and now also develops its European offering from Tuscany.

That connection shapes how we present the brand. Destinations, scenery and roads change; the wish to discover them by motorcycle and care for the whole experience remains. At the stand, that relationship becomes visible through the people, colours and images. It is a simple way to show where we come from and where we want to keep travelling.

    Tuscany as a starting point

Our European base is in Tuscany, in the Florence and Mugello area. From there, we work on the two options you can explore on our website: guided tours and BMW R 1300 GS rental. Each offers a different way to organise a journey, and choosing between them starts with understanding the experience you want.

A guided tour may suit you if you want to follow a prepared itinerary and share the road with a group. Rental offers another approach: choosing your own itinerary and deciding the pace of each day. In either case, begin with your dates, available time and the kinds of roads you would like to enjoy, then review the current proposal and conditions.

Tuscany also connects this Peñíscola visit with other stories in the blog. Our Transfăgărășan account describes the scouting journey from our base to the Carpathians to explore new routes. The work behind a trip and the anticipation of discovering somewhere new meet in these two articles: one from the road, and another from an event that brings together people who enjoy it.

    Three photographs from our visit

We have illustrated this story with our own photographs. The opening image shows the stand and the connection between our two homes. Another places the team among the tents and people moving through the gathering. Together, they give the visit a setting and show MotoRent beyond its logo.

The gallery ends beside the water, with the lights of Peñíscola reflected after dark. That pause adds another part of travelling: the place you find yourself when the day’s activity ends. Roads matter, and so do the moments after you get off the motorcycle, walk, sit down and look around. That thought also informs the way we consider a route.

From Peñíscola to your next motorcycle trip

If BMW Motorrad Days has left you thinking about your next ride, start with three questions: how much time do you have, what would you like to discover, and would you rather travel with a group or plan your own route? Those answers make it easier to assess the options and choose an experience that makes sense for you.

On the MotoRent Europe website, you can explore the tours and read about BMW R 1300 GS rental from Tuscany. Published tour pages and conditions are the reference for itinerary, availability and services. Tell us what kind of trip you have in mind and we can review the possibilities together. From our stand in Peñíscola, we are looking towards that next road.
