Privacy Policy and Data Protection (GDPR)

    1. Data Controller

    The company responsible for processing your data is MotoRent Europe (hereinafter, the Company), with VAT number 07519060482 and registered address at Via Antonio Gramsci 41A - Barberino di Mugello 50031.

    2. Purpose of Data Processing

    Personal data (name, email, phone, date of birth, and identity document) collected through our booking system will be used exclusively for:

    • Managing the tour booking and motorcycle rental.
    • Operational communications regarding the trip.
    • Invoice issuance and compliance with tax and accounting obligations.
    • Strict data transfer to the fleet provider for the vehicle rental contract.

    Processors and purposes

    • Stripe Payments Europe: processing of travel-package payments. MotoRent Europe does not access or directly retain your full card details. The payment method may be securely retained through Stripe only for future package charges expressly authorised under the accepted package terms; rental charges are authorised separately with MotoRent.
    • Supabase: hosting of the database and encrypted document storage, with access restricted by security policies.
    • Documents (passport and licence): optional upload, used only to prepare your file and speed up verification on arrival.
    • Marketing and image rights consents: optional, separate and revocable at any time, with no effect on your place request.
    • MotoRent rental management: file management, rental contract, verification of originals, guarantee and damage or fine charges at motorcycle handover.

    3. Legal Basis and Data Retention

    The legal basis for processing your data is the execution of the tourist services contract. Data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to determine possible legal liabilities (a maximum of 10 years under Italian tax regulations).

    4. User Rights

    You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether MotoRent Europe is processing your personal data. Therefore, you have the right to access your data, rectify inaccurate data, or request its deletion when no longer necessary.     5. Data Security

    We use secure infrastructure (Supabase) with database encryption to guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' personal information against unauthorized access.
